I would only recommend that for virtual events Jake mention that he will review the chat at the end or the room monitor needs to clearly state that they are monitoring the chat. It seemed to distract him once or twice, but that is not totally his fault. The PIEPC should support speakers by making it clear that room monitors will monitor the chat. It is not right to interrupt the flow of the speaker, and the speaker should not feel they HAVE to respond to the chat while they are presenting. That's just my preference for virtual conferences.
