    Chuck is an experienced emergency manager and instructor with over 12 years’ experience in emergency management and healthcare. Chuck holds a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management from Waldorf University as well as the Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator (CHEC) certification from Augusta University’s Center of Operational Medicine and the Certified Emergency and Disaster Professional (CEDP) certification from The International Board for Certification of Safety Managers. He is currently the Director of Training and Education for SRP Contractors, an emergency and disaster response contractor based in Tennessee and Arkansas, and also serves as an adjunct instructor for both Augusta University and FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness, where he instructs students on a variety of emergency management best practices for healthcare.

    Chuck specializes in healthcare emergency management, course development and instruction, and hazardous materials planning. Having worked in the healthcare field for over 12 years, he transitioned his skills from planning to full-time instructing, working with colleagues from across the country to help develop best practice plans and training courses. During his tenure with a multi-hospital healthcare system in the Memphis, TN area Chuck developed and implemented the hospital Disaster Assistance Response Team (D.A.R.T) program. The program consists of teams of multi-disciplinary employees that are highly trained in decontamination operations, hospital incident command, active shooter response, mass casualty incident management, and patient evacuation.
