  • Disaster Health Topics
I can cover an array of topics with regard to health issues and first responders. Such health topics might include anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling health hazards (i.e. biological, chemical, and physical agents) before, during, or after responses to man-made or natural disasters. Other topics include control measures to prevent or reduce the potential for harmful exposures including appropriate personal protective equipment. Specific topics covered will depend significantly on the audience and what type of disaster is being addressed.
  • Disaster Responser Topics
Responding to any type of disaster will bring with it a high degree of uncertainty. Topics to be covered will largely depend on the audience and the type of disaster response being performed. Examples of topics that might be covered are the incident command system, communications, proper training of responders, proper care for responders, among many other foreseen and unforeseen issues that arise during the course of any disaster.
