    Telfany Morgan is an Advanced Certified Emergency Manager who partners with safety professionals to educate the public about the importance of planning and preparing for emergencies.
    Telfany has three degrees, numerous certifications, and is an active member of several committees that focus on emergency response planning, threat and hazard analysis, and community risk reduction.
    Telfany has developed an exceptional background in project management and a professional style based on excellent inter-personal communications and an ability to make the best possible use of her personal network.
    After working nearly two decades with several local municipalities, Telfany possesses substantive customer service experience and often uses that, along with her education, to offer pro-bono services to non-profit organizations and houses of worship to assist with writing their emergency action plans. She is uniquely positioned to impact organizations’ safety and security, with her powerful vision of “promoting situational awareness thru safety preparedness”.
    Telfany zealously seeks opportunities to participate in a variety of trainings, workshops, and seminars that ultimately allows her to extend a broad resource base on which to constantly build her career.
    With nearly 80 emergency management certifications and currently serving as the Community Emergency Response Team Manager for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, Telfany truly believes that the key to a successful, receptive emergency management program depends on how well you connect with the heart-beating people you’re trying to help and communicate your understanding back to them.

    Government Experience
    Telfany currently serves as the first full-time Community Emergency Response Program Manager for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department.
    Telfany served as the first, and only, Hazardous Materials Coordinator for the Department of Watershed Management for the City of Atlanta.
    Telfany pioneered the internship program with the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Preparedness for the City of Atlanta.
