ResilienceYou don't have to be armor plated to be resilient. You, your team, shared partners and your respected program areas of responsibility need to identify the risks associated and determine what level of risk you as a emergency manager will take to succeed. The question is do you believe in the greater the risk the greater the reward or are you risk averse and approach issues in a more conservative manner. There is no right answer here. Maybe the better path forward is to assess each risk you face and make the best choice based on the situational awareness at hand, building a common operational picture piece by piece that fits well into your strategic and operational priorities and objectives.
