    Doug Bainton is a full-time emergency management and disaster response operations professional in the public sector with over 18 years of experience in the public and non-profit disaster and incident management fields. Bainton has served in multiple strategic and tactical roles on numerous disaster deployments across the United States including, but not limited to: COVID in NYC, Hurricanes Katrina, Harvey, Irma and Maria, the 2007 Southern California Firestorms and the 2013 and 2014 Oklahoma tornadoes.

    Bainton's formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services Administration / Emergency Management from John Jay College and an Associate of Applied Science in Fire Protection Technology.

    - Conceptualized, developed and executed a $4M fire and life safety program ("Get Alarmed NYC") between the American Red Cross of Greater New York and the FDNY. Get Alarmed NYC is the largest free fire safety education and smoke alarm installation program in the United States (as of 2021).
