Preparation and Content
My 5th-grade students thoroughly enjoyed Jake's presentation about natural disasters and disaster preparedness! His presentation was well researched and organized, flowed in a way that made the content comprehensible for students, and was aligned to the learning objectives for a 5th-grade research and writing unit being taught. It was clear that Jake was very prepared, experienced, and knowledgeable about this topic.
Presentation and Delivery
Jake is an engaging, well-spoken, and knowledgeable presenter. He connected with my students by giving several examples of natural disasters and connecting them specifically to our geographic area. His presentation included many interesting images for students to view. Jake also did an excellent job at answering any and all of their questions to support learning. I look forward to having Jake present to my class again!
